This is the first whisky released by Balcones, the first Texan whisky, and the first whiksy to be made from blue corn, a rich, oily variety of maize which adds an intriguing twist to tradutional corn whisky. The corn is toasted before being used in the mash imparting a distinct nuttiness, which makes this whisky perfect for an old fashioned.
